Linda: While I was shopping at a quilt store in McDonough, GA, I started talking with another customer who was traveling from Ohio to Florida. Since the shop is right off I-75, she always stops there on her trips up and down the highway. She mentioned that she has a strange pet and he loves to ride in the car. When she told me it was a pigmy hedgehog, I asked if I could see it since I had never been close to any kind of hedgehog. She brought it into the shop so everyone could pet him!
|He was small enough to fit in her hand. And when he gets nervous or scared, he'll curl up |
into a ball. He wasn't as prickly as I thought he would be but I don't think I want a hedgehog as a pet!

We're just stopping by for a quick hello and to share this article with all of you. It's called "6 Companies That Are Teaching Educators What Good 'Disruption' Means."
Our first thought was: How can there be good disruptions when teaching? But that's not what this is all about! The article describes 6 companies with a variety of technical tools to help teach our students. Be sure to check out the links to these companies and look who's number 2!! Teachers Pay Teachers!

We are joining many other TpT stores for an unofficial Easter Sunday (and Monday!) sale. TpT is not sponsoring this sale so you won't have to use a code at checkout. Be sure to stop by the stores linked below!
Everything in the KinderLit store is 20% off so have 2 fun days stocking up for the rest of the school year! Don’t forget all those items on your Wish List too.
We continue to revise our books and products so be sure to take a look at these. They now include a student-created collage book and a writing journal! If you have purchased these in the past, upload the newest version on your My Purchases page or contact us.
And we have a new category on the left hand side of our home page called Bundles. These are regularly discounted but on April 5 & 6 you can save even more!
If you are a seller and participating in this sale, add a link here:
Happy Easter! Happy Shopping!

It's the first Wednesday of the new month - and the first day! - so we're joining the Teaching Trio to share 3 of our favorite "anythings!"
This month we'll tell you about our favorite Spring Break activities:
The weather is beautiful - just in time for spring break! We've had some very hot days already but will it hit 100 in April? Hope not!
I became a grandmother in November and Sloane is so much fun now at 5 months old. We'll be celebrating Easter at my home but no egg hunt this year! I'm sure next year will be a completely different story.
Spring break also gives me time to visit my mom and sisters up in Washington. She's almost 90 and I love going back home to spend time with her and sailing in the Puget Sound. The week will be over before you know it and then it's our final stretch before summer break.
Linda: Right now in Georgia we are having some major thunderstorms along with hail! I haven't been able to check my roof but I don't thing the hailstones are large enough to do much damage. Tomorrow should be sunny and up in the 70's again!
I live 5 miles away from my grandchildren and am the go-to babysitter! My 4-year-old granddaughter loves to do projects with paper, glue, and scissors now but the 2-year-old would rather play with his trucks!
Quilting is my new passion. I belong to 2 quilting groups, both of which are making and donating 70" by 80" quilts to the shelter for homeless vets close to Atlanta. I'm also working on a wall hanging that is all hand-embroidered. Might get it finished by next spring!
